Piano Concert

On Saturday, February 25th the residents of Village Manor were entertained by the young Maxim Nikitin at his very first piano concert. The concert was presented by the Tutor Town Piano Studio and Lisa Snyder. The wonderful young musician played eight classical songs by such composers as Bach, Beethoven and Haydn.

Appalachian Trail!

The residents of Village Manor had the opportunity to take an adventure on our own Appalachian Trail constructed right on our second floor. This trail was set up by our wonderful Bobbie to help the residents stay active during the winter month.

There is a chart in the main lobby that keeps track of the residents that participate and how often they walked. It is our goal that the participants together can walk the actual length of the Appalachian Trail, 2,184 miles. For the closing ceremonies there will be a large celebration for all that participate.

Trip to Hawaii

On Thursday, February 9th the residents of Village Manor had the opportunity to take a trip to Hawaii... without even leaving the building. This fun event allowed the residents, with the help of Margaet Nagel from Metro to be snow birds for the day. With the cold weather finally catching up with us this was a perfect event to have.

Super Bowl Sunday!

On Sunday, February 5th the residents of Village Manor had another party to celebrate the Super Bowl. Who will win? Will the commercials be as great as last year? We are all excited to find out!
